BLING BOSS

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, then you already know I’ve been riding hard for deep plums, cranberries and the color all up in this post, purple.

I used the shade Gem as a liner and ever since I’ve been envisioning this gorgeous royal purple satin shade as the center of focus in a few looks, but haven’t been completely satisfied with anything I’ve tried. It’ll happen though, gotta have faith. That’s the thing with makeup, there’s no rules, no limitations and the amount of ways you can wear a product. No color is too bright, no look too dramatic… it’s all in application and how the artist utilizes their imagination. Ugh, there’s another makeup love moment haha, but can you blame me?

SKIN : Smashbox Cosmetics Pore Refining Photofinish Primer, Marc Jacobs Remarcable Foundation in Cocoa Light mixxed with Josie Maran Vibrancy foundation in Reverent, Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define in C12, BareMinerals Pro Powder in Hazelnut, Pur Cosmetics Sculptor (Inventor), elf Cosmetics Blush Quad in Dark, Ofra Cosmetics Highlighter in Blissful

This collection in particular gives you more than enough options of shadows to go crazy with. I love that the entire collection is separated in to 4 palettes each with a specific color story. You can stay within the palette to create gorgeous looks or be a bit more creative and jump into a different color story. I guess you could say I like it.

LIPS: Ruby Kiss by Kiss lip liner in Berry Jam, Nyx Cosmetics Suede Matte lipstick in Girl, Bye, Wet N Wild Beauty Liquid Lipstick in Rebel Rose

Obviously, that’s an understatement though. The vault has been in heavy rotation ever since I got it in the mail. I’ve been trying to incorporate more lip products in my every day makeup as well. I’m finally realizing the correct ways to utilize lip liners in order to enhance and change the tone of lipsticks. It’s a game changer, you should try it.

Thanks for stopping by, let’s talk in the comments.
